To enter Algeria you must be vaccinated and present a negative PCR test
CURRENCY
The Algerian Dinar (DZD) is the national currency.
Currency conversion: 1 € = 135 DZD (official rate).
Travelers are not restricted in the amount of currency they may bring into Algeria. However, any amount must be declared in writing to customs upon arrival.
Cash is the preferred method of payment in Algeria. Credit cards and checks are not widely accepted, so it’s best to rely on cash during your stay.

Weather: Hot and dry in summer.
Best time to visit: September to June.
Weekends: Friday and Saturday.
Travel note: It’s best to avoid visiting during Ramadan.

Voltage: Hotels use 220 V.
Luggage: Use hard plastic or metal suitcases; avoid canvas bags.
