Day 1 Monday : Algiers

Assistance upon arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Stop at the city’s heights to visit Makam Echahid.
Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 Tuesday : Algiers

Visit the Casbah and meet a local cabinetmaker.
Enjoy lunch in the fishery district, home to the New Mosque (Djamâa el-Jedid).
After lunch, explore the Grande Poste, the National Theater, the Wilaya (Prefecture of Algiers), and the Galeries de France.
The day concludes with a visit to the Basilica of Notre-Dame d’Afrique.

Day 3 Wednesday : Flight Algiers / Tamanrasset

Flight from Algiers to Tamanrasset.
Journey to the Assekrem refuge through the Atakor massif, renowned for its dramatic landscapes.
Lunch en route.
Visit the magnificent site where Charles de Foucauld once lived.
Dinner and overnight stay near his hermitage.

Day 4 Thursday : Hirafok - Atakor - Oued Tellouet

Departure for Hirafok, a Tuareg village on the edge of the Atakor massif.
Continue to Ideles to admire the lush gardens.
Set up camp a little further on, at the foot of a small black basalt cliff.

Day 5 Friday : Tellouhet - Afara - Amadror - Tihodaine – Afara

Head toward Afara, a vast sandy plain at the foot of Tassili N’Ajjer.
Then cross the great plain of Amadror to reach the stunning Erg of Tihodaine, a labyrinth of dunes scattered with Neolithic remains.
From Tihodaine, continue to Afara along the cliffs of Tassili N’Ajjer, passing through wadis and rock formations to arrive at the beautiful sand dunes where the camp will be set for the night.

Day 6 Saturday : Akba - Tamedet - Tassili N'Ajjer - Tasset - Dider - Assar

Via the Akba de Tamedet, head toward the Tassili cliffs to reach the stunning site of Tasset.
Continue to Dider, a vast plateau where you can admire the impressive gueltas of Assar and some of the most beautiful rock engravings in the Sahara.
Overnight bivouac.

Day 7 Sunday : Akba Pass - Tin Teradjeli - Erg Admer – Djanet

Early in the morning, pass by the impressive Akba of Tin Teradjeli to reach the Plain of Admer, a vast sandy expanse between the plateau cliffs and the towering dunes of the Erg Admer.
Arrive in Djanet in the evening and spend the night at the guesthouse.

Day 8 Monday : Tadrart massif - Oued El Beridj

From Djanet, towards the Tadrart massif, frequented throughout the Neolithic period. 
We will explore the region of El Beridj, made up of large canyons bordered by dark sandstone cliffs where we have the opportunity to admire our first rock carvings.
Dinner and overnight stay in a bivouac in the Oued El Beridj.

Day 9 Tuesday: Moul N’Aga

Hike and drive through this picturesque landscape, crossing immense gullies carved from enormous caves and adorned with impressive natural arcades.
Sand has seeped into the sides of the cliffs, creating stunning shades of red and ochre. Along the way, discover new rock paintings, mainly from the Bovidian era: great hunters armed with spears, accompanied by their dogs, pursuing sheep with heavy horns.
Bivouac and overnight stay.

Day 10 Wednesday: In Djaren Canyon - Tin Merzouga

Departure for the vast In Djaren Canyon, whose cliffs, sculpted by erosion, are adorned with numerous frescoes and rock engravings depicting elephants, giraffes, and various bovines.
Continue to the jewel of the Tadrart: Tin Merzouga, rising to 1,300 meters with saffron and red dunes that glow spectacularly at sunset.
Bivouac overnight in Tin Merzouga.

Day 11 Thursday: L’Oued In Djaren - Tamezguida Cathedral

Today we will explore Wadi In Djaren, home to lush vegetation such as acacias, roses of Jericho, and henbane that thrived after the last flood, until reaching the Cathedral of Tamezguida with its immense natural arches.
In the In Djaren Canyon, we will also visit rock engravings and paintings, including depictions of fish on the Tadrart walls and the only seated giraffe in all of the Tassilis.
Bivouac overnight.

Day 12 Friday: Tegharghart - Djanet

After breakfast, visit the Tegharghart engravings, including the famous “Crying Cow,” before returning to the town of Djanet.
In the afternoon, enjoy a walking city tour of Djanet, exploring local crafts and artisan workshops.

Day 13 Saturday: Return flight

Transfer to Djanet Airport for assistance and your return flight to Algiers.
Upon arrival, transfer to the international airport for your onward flight.
